Towans Residential Care Home The Towans is a family owned Residential Care Home for the Elderly in Burnham on Sea, Somerset. Located on the coast, many of our rooms have lovely sea views.

We aim to provide the very best Residential care possible, in a comfortable safe and homely environment. Our managers are usually available during normal office hours and will be happy to discuss your needs with you. We understand that if you have not s

een a Residential Home before and you find you need to look for one, it can be quite a daunting task. They will help you with any questions about The Towans or Elderly Care in general so you can look for a home for yourself or a loved one who can no longer cope at home or wants the security and company that a Residential Care Home can give, with a bit more confidence. They will also be very happy to explain our service at The Towans and help with any questions you may have without obligation.

Today, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing managers, Sophie and Karen.

Thank you for the dedication, compassion and professionalism you show every day. The care you give our residents, the reassurance you provide to their families, the support you offer our staff team, and the positive relationships you build with the many external professionals we work alongside make an incredible difference.

So much of what you do happens quietly behind the scenes and often goes unrecognised, but it never goes unnoticed by me. I am incredibly proud to work alongside such a dedicated team who put people first, every single day.

David sang his favourite song for us today. Phoebe Richard’s visited us and inspired us with some nice songs from the 50s and 60s. “She was a lovely singer and very pleasant”, said one of the residents.
