🛠️ What is Kinetic Therapy? 🛠️

Kinetic Therapy is a form of IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation) that uses specialist tools to work on muscles and soft tissues, helping to reduce pain, ease tension and improve movement.

I use professional-grade British surgical steel tools, designed by Stephen Heaton — quality tools designed specifically for the job.

Kinetic Therapy may help to:

✅ Reduce muscle tightness and stiffness
✅ Improve mobility and range of movement
✅ Support recovery from old or new injuries
✅ Increase local blood flow
✅ Address areas of ongoing tension and discomfort
✅ Help everyday people — not just athletes

🔍 The important bit:
Where you feel the pain isn’t always where the problem starts. Kinetic Therapy looks beyond the painful area to help identify and address factors that may be contributing to your discomfort.

Before ➡️ After

A great example of how restricted movement can improve with the right treatment.

In the first photo, my client was experiencing pain and limited shoulder mobility. Look at his face in pain
After a Kinetic Therapy treatment, there was a noticeable improvement in range of movement and a reduction in discomfort.

Every client is different, which is why every treatment is tailored to their individual needs and goals.

If you’re struggling with pain, stiffness or restricted movement, I’d love to help.

✨ Great results after just ONE Kinetic Therapy treatment! ✨

This client had been suffering with IT band issues, tight hips and a noticeable leg length difference, causing pain and restriction.

After one session, they reported 70–80% of the pain had gone, bruising was improving, and they were able to do basic running again.

You can also see a clear improvement in how the legs are sitting — appearing more balanced and less rotated after treatment 🙌

Still some soreness with twisting movements like football or padel, but a brilliant improvement from just one session.

Message me to book in.

An osteopath with over 30 years’ experience came in to learn more about this treatment approach. He spent time with Steve Heaton who is the owner and creator of kinetic therapy

Steve, continues to share his methodology with practitioners across different backgrounds

The video is what he had to say
Thank you Zac for sharing your experience and to Steve of course for all you do to help me out 🙏🙏🙏

Back pain isn’t always what you think it is 👀

We’re often quick to blame the back itself, but the real issue can come from somewhere else entirely.

A lot of the time, what you’re feeling is the result of imbalances and tightness in other areas like:
• Calves
• IT band
• Quads

When these muscles are tight or not functioning properly, they can change the way you move, putting extra stress on your lower back.

Your body works as one connected system — if one part isn’t doing its job, another part has to pick up the slack.

That’s where Kinetic Therapy can help 👇
By releasing tight tissues and improving mobility, we can address the root cause — not just the symptom.

So if you’re dealing with back pain, don’t just chase the pain… fix the source.

Move better. Feel better. 💪

This memory popped up today and wow… it took me right back.

I remember being so hopeful for that MRI, thinking it would finally give me answers as to why I couldn’t run. But it found nothing… and that led to years of frustration, trying everything and getting nowhere.

If I’d only known back then what I know now about kinetic therapy It ended up being the one thing that actually worked for me and completely changed everything. Once I found it, I never looked back.

Funny how something that felt so overwhelming at the time ended up being part of the journey to figuring it all out ♥️♥️♥️

👣 Plantar fasciitis? Don’t just treat the foot.

That heel pain often starts higher up the chain — in the calf.

This picture is from a client this evening It shows restricted, overloaded calf tissue. Tight calves increase pull through the Achilles and overload the plantar fascia with every step.

✔️ Improve calf mobility
✔️ Reduce tension at the heel
✔️ Support long-term plantar relief

👉 Treat the cause, not just the symptom.
