Thankyou to those that took the time to attend our Health and Wellbeing event at the weekend, those who completed a feedback form earned an entry into our Free Raffle.

We would like to thank all the services that came to support our Health and Wellbeing event over the weekend. I tried to get everyone’s photo but missed a couple (apologies) shout out to Hyndburn leisure and Citizen advice who were too busy engaging with others for a photo (I didn’t want to intrude), shout out to Netball England and Gymnastics that came along too. Shout out to Tesco Accrington and Tesco Great Harwwod for donating fruit and water 💟 Finally thank you to Hyndburn Academy for letting us use their facilities, Shout out to Steve he was a wonderful help ☺️

Our Health and Wellbeing coach is at St Peter’s and St Paul’s church this morning at their cafe ready to talk about adopting healthy behaviours and improving health and wellbeing.

Due to the first Monday in May being a bank holiday this community drop in will be taking place on the 11th May 😊

Members of our team, will be taking part in the the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge next month, alongside member of staff from Clayton Medical Centre.

The team have decided to do so in aid of East Lancashire Hospice.

The East Lancashire Hospice provide specialist palliative care and support, whether that be in their inpatient unit or within the community, to those who are living with life-limiting illnesses within Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

🌄 Hyndburn Community — We Need Your Help! 🌄

In May 2026, 11 members of our PCN team will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, and we want this effort to give something meaningful back to the place we’re proud to serve.

As we prepare for the climb, we’re reaching out to you — our Hyndburn community — to help us choose local charities to support. We want to raise money for causes that matter right here at home, helping to keep our incredible local organisations thriving.

Once we’ve gathered your suggestions, our PCN team will meet to discuss them all and choose two local charities to fundraise for during our challenge.
