We had the pleasure of having Emma's ices visit us here at Wytham lodge this week. The ice creams went down well with both staff and service users in this hot weather. Thanks for visiting and we look forward to seeing you again 😁

We have been all green fingered here at Wytham lodge. Our service user ambassador kelvin has been working hard in the garden with our fabulous maintenance Neil and they have created a lovely vegetable garden. Can you spot what we have growing. 🪴 🪏

We are looking to make some rummage tins for our sensory boxes here at Wytham lodge and are asking for help from you all. We are asking if anyone can donate any of the following to us so we can put some tins together please. Biscuits tins fabric strips / scrap fabric Buttons Old postcards Keys older ones if possible to Costume jewelry Empty cotton reels Stamps Medals of any kind Old fashioned toys like yo-yos, jack's etc
Anything else anyone thinks would be good to put in these tins.
Rummage tins are filled with familiar, sensory-rich items to help people with dementia engage, reminisce, and reduce anxiety.
If you have anything that can help us drop us a message on here and I can arrange collection.

We've had some very cute visitors with us this week at Wytham lodge.
We are sad to see them go today but have enjoyed having them with us for 4 days. We can't believe how much they have grown in just 4 days ❤️
