Winter sunshine has a way of slowing you down and making you reflect ☀️

It’s also had me thinking about how much pressure we put on ourselves as women to look a certain way.

In my 20s and 30s, I just wanted a flat belly and a big bum 😂

But behind that, I wasn’t in a great mental place. I was following the crowd, chasing an image, and putting so much unnecessary pressure on myself.

Holidays came with guilt, food came with rules, going off track felt like failure.

Now, in my 40s, things feel very different and so much better.

I move my body because I can, not because I hate it, I eat well, but I also enjoy food without guilt! I stay in my own lane and block out the noise and the social media bu****it.

I’ll always value movement, I’ll always care about my health.

But it feels great to let go of chasing a dress size or a certain weight and fully accept being a strong, confident size 10 -12 woman.

Christmas and New Year felt almost too good to be true!

Calm, Grounded, Peaceful, Then New Year hit 😂💥

Mr Read tore his calf muscle, ended up caring for my mum. Life reminded me, very quickly, that it doesn't slow down just because we want it to
But here's what I'm really proud of I didn't lose myself.

✨kept my boundaries
✨stayed grounded.
✨chose me even in the chaos

It wasn't anything fancy, Getting outdoors and breathing in fresh air, Moving my body with the Winter Wellbeing ladies, Choosing fruit instead of emotional eating, Creating space instead of running on stress.

So many people survive on stress. coffee, alcohol & sugar

When you learn to put yourself first whether that's grounding yourself, moving your body, or making slightly better choices life genuinely becomes easier to manage.

No need to be perfect or stress free just manage life better.

Being "selfish" isn't about ignoring others.
It's about looking after yourself so you can show up for everyone else.

I don’t know about you, but as soon as the darker nights draw in, I’m starting to feel it,
The dip in energy, the isolation, the lack of motivation.

As a woman who works for herself at home, it can get lonely. If you’re a mum, you’re probably spinning plates all day long, too busy looking after everyone else to even think about yourself.

And that’s why I’m opening up my 4 Week Winter Kickstart for women like you. The women who:
