Meet Mandy Woman of the Year for the Saturday 9am Bursledon Group

What can I say about Mandy? Mandy's journey has had its ups and downs. She now has her focus and is absolutely smashing her weight loss journey. Pretty much each week Mandy will shed a little tear of joy but she is getting newer numbers on the scales numbers she hasnt seen in a long time and is feeling fantastic.

Mandy has a wealth of knowledge especially when it comes to travelling for work and sticking to plan.

Mandy comes along with her daughter Laura and her niece Amber who are all inspiring each other. This is how selfless Mandy is, when I gave her, her award she immediately wanted to give it Laura who inspires her.

Mandy I am so proud to be your Slimming World Consultant, you bring a smile to everyones face. Thank you for being part of our Saturday group.

Meet Kay Woman of the World of the 730am Saturday Bursledon Group

Kay has had one incredibly hard year, for some people the odd ear infection is a pain, for Kay this means not being able to hear. Kay has had too many ear infections to count she is currently on her untempt hearing aid ban which means she cant hear at all. But Kay doesn't let that stop her from coming to group and owning the scales.

Kay is a keen runner and up until recently has stopped running due to not being able to hear but her running friends have been her human hearing dog this has meant a lot to Kay.

In group I try to remember some of the sign language I learnt years ago to help so Kay feels included. But best of all Kay has shown that it doesnt matter whether you can hear or not, you can still come in own the scales and take the wins however big or small.

Kay I am so proud and honoured to be your Slimming World Consultant.

Lat week we crowned our Woman of The Year.

Meet Lynne, she is a major part of the Netley group, she is part of the Social Team our glamorous raffle lady. Lynne has been attending my group for a while now and she has had a rollercaster of a journey but Lynne never ever gives up.

See that smile in the picture she wears that each week regardless of what the scales say and always supports and cheers everyone on even when deep down she is frustrated with her own journey. Lynne will often give tips and will offer some great suggestions, everyone needs a Lynne in their group.

This award couldn't have come on a better week, she came in having lost 6.5lbs by following plan and having confidence in herself that she can do it and she did. This award came as a huge surprise.

Lynne you absolutely deserve this award and I am super proud to be your Slimming World consultant.

WOW how can we be in August already! This year is flying by and as we are in August my baby turns 18 this month 😭,

What powerful and inspirational sessions we had this morning, we crowned our Woman of the Year, we had tears, we gave out awards, we shared top tips and advice and at times hit some hard hitting thoughts. It was amazing.
