High blood pressure often has no noticeable symptoms. You may feel completely well while it is placing additional strain on your heart, blood vessels and other organs.

The good news is that checking your blood pressure is quick, simple and could help identify a problem before it becomes more serious.

You may be able to have your blood pressure checked at a local community pharmacy, through your GP practice or as part of an NHS Health Check.

🩺 You know your age, but do you know your blood pressure numbers?

High blood pressure usually has no symptoms, but it can increase your risk of serious health problems, including heart disease, stroke and kidney disease.

This Know Your Numbers! Week, take a few minutes to get your blood pressure checked. Checks may be available at your local community pharmacy, GP practice or as part of an NHS Health Check.

If you are aged 40 or over, you should aim to have your blood pressure checked at least once every five years, or more regularly if advised by a healthcare professional.

Did you get the alert? 🚨📱
The UK Government has just issued a severe alert warning of a very high risk of wildfires nationally.
It means conditions are exceptionally dry and hot right now, so even the smallest spark could instantly spiral into a major wildfire, putting local wildlife, habitats, homes, and emergency responders at serious risk.
