My First Experience with Acupuncture

My journey into acupuncture started in a very unexpected way — while working on a cruise ship in the USA.
I exchanged treatments with a colleague, and during my very first sessions, something unusual kept happening… I would fall deeply asleep, and afterwards I felt emotional — almost on the verge of tears.
At the time, I didn’t understand it. But it stayed with me.
I started reading, researching, trying to make sense of it — and that curiosity quickly turned into passion.
That was the moment I truly fell in love with Chinese medicine.

News update!

Juliette our receptionist is sadly leaving us this Friday 27th March, after 9 fantastic years on reception at the Natural Healthcare Centre.
We would like to thank Juliette for her amazing support and dedication over her time here, and for her contribution to the success of the Centre.
Wishing you a fabulous time in your well deserved retirement Juliette.

Visible facial thread veins and spider naevi can be a common concern, particularly around the nose and cheeks. Using advanced electrolysis, we can safely target and reduce the appearance of these small facial vessels with precision. This treatment is suitable for delicate facial areas.

Gemma Hiatt BSc(hons) FHT mIFPA

Gemma has always had a passion for natural health and wellbeing holding a Bsc Hons degree in Occupational Therapy and an NVQ level 4 in Clinical Aromatherapy. Gemma has previously worked within the NHS for 8 years specialising in musculoskeletal hand and upper limb conditions alongside scar therapy following plastics and oncology surgeries. Gemma set up GH Holistics to work alongside her Occupational Therapy work in 2023. She is a member of British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (mIFPA)

Gemma’s skills include:

-Clinical Aromatherapy Treatments
-Clinical Aromatherapy Individual Blends / Prescriptions
-Scar Therapy including post operative care
-Reiki
