I talk about healing skin all the time — helping the skin recover, restore and rebuild after acne, scarring, rosacea and so many other things that can affect not only our skin, but the way we feel about ourselves.

My passion has always been helping women and men feel confident, comfortable and good in their own skin. ❤️

But sometimes, I need to take a little of my own medicine.
I spend so much time looking after other people — my clients, my family, my friends — that it’s easy to forget that I need looking after too.

Because the truth is, if I’m not in a good place physically, I can’t give the best version of myself to the people who need me.

Healing isn’t just about what we can see on the outside.
It’s about restoring the mind, calming the nervous system, giving the body time to recover and allowing ourselves permission to simply stop.

So this is my little reminder to myself — and maybe to you too:

🌿 Rest when your body asks you to.
🌿 Restore when you feel depleted.
🌿 Relax without feeling guilty.
🌿 Look after yourself, because you matter too.

You don’t always have to be doing, achieving, fixing or caring for everyone else.

Sometimes, healing starts with simply putting yourself first. 🤍

You don’t need a perfect set of results to build a successful life. ❤️

I want to share something I wish more young people were reminded of…

Your GCSEs, A-levels or education do not define how successful you can become.

There is more than one path to your dreams. ✨

For me, life has been about working for myself, working for Sea Magik, and working on myself.

Three things I consistently show up for. Day after day. Even when it’s hard. Even when I’m tired. Even when things don’t go exactly to plan.

And that consistency has changed everything.

Every treatment I perform makes me a better beauty therapist.
Every client teaches me something new.
Every day in business makes me stronger.
Every opportunity with Sea Magik pushes me further.
And every time I work on myself, I become more confident in what I can achieve.

I haven’t built what I have overnight. There has been plenty of graft, sacrifice, learning, mistakes, determination and moments where I’ve had to keep going when it would have been easier not to.

But hard work really does count.

If you’re young and you didn’t get the GCSE or A-level results you hoped for, please don’t believe that your future is already written.

Maybe your strength isn’t sitting in a classroom.

Maybe you’re a creator.
Maybe you’re practical.
Maybe you’re a natural salesperson.
Maybe you’re brilliant with people.
Maybe you have an incredible work ethic.
Maybe you just need someone to believe in you.

There are so many ways to build a life you’re proud of.

It might not be the easiest road. Mine certainly hasn’t been. But through determination, consistency and a whole lot of graft, I’ve created a life where I work for myself, choose what I work on, have flexibility around my life and continue to build something I’m incredibly proud of!

And the best part?

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. I’m still working on myself.

So if you’re at the beginning of your journey, don’t give up because your results don’t look like someone else’s.

Keep showing up.

Keep learning.

Keep grafting.

Keep believing.

Skincare isn’t just for women — men deserve to feel good in their skin too. 💙

Meet Jason — a roofer who spends plenty of time outdoors, exposed to the elements. 🌤️🌬️ And just because he works outside doesn’t mean his skin doesn’t deserve a little TLC!
