💜🩵 We Did It – Trek26 for Alzheimer’s Society 🩵💜

Today, our LifeTree Homecare team completed Trek26 for Alzheimer’s Society — and what a journey it was.

We crossed the finish line with blisters, swollen ankles, aching legs, pain and even blood pressure struggles, but every step was worth it. Because today was about so much more than a walk.

Today was about walking for the people living with dementia.
For the families who give so much of themselves every single day.
For the memories that slowly fade, but the love that never does.

This cause is deeply close to our hearts. In care, we see the impact dementia has not only on the person living with it, but on the loved ones around them too. We see the strength, the sadness, the courage and the love — and that is why today meant so much to us.

We are so incredibly proud of Cristina, Leigha, Andreea, Sam, Sowjanya and Lenny for taking part and giving their all. Your strength, compassion and determination shone through every step of the way. Even when it was hard, you kept going — and that says so much about the hearts behind our team. 💚

There were sore feet, tired bodies and emotional moments, but there was also laughter, support, togetherness and purpose. And that is what made today so special.

We didn’t just walk for ourselves.
We walked for awareness.
We walked for remembrance.
We walked for every person and family affected by dementia.

And although we may be ending the day exhausted, we are also ending it proud — proud to have stood together for something so meaningful.

💜 Every step was for someone.
🩵 Every mile carried love.
💚 Every ache was worth it.

Today, we walked with heart.
Today, we walked with purpose.
Today, we walked for a cause that truly matters.

Today, our LifeTree Homecare team is standing at the start line, ready to take part in Alzheimer’s Society Trek26 — and this walk means so much more than just the miles ahead.

We are walking with love in our hearts and purpose in every step.

We walk for every person living with dementia.
We walk for the families who love, support and care for them every single day.
We walk for the memories that are never forgotten.
We walk for awareness, understanding, hope and change.

Dementia touches so many lives, including many of the wonderful people and families we are privileged to support. Today is our way of showing that they are not alone — that we stand beside them, we remember, we care, and we keep walking forward together.

She leads with warmth and compassion, always putting people first and making sure everyone feels valued, respected and supported.
