** Sharps Bins**

We have received instruction from Norfolk & Suffolk Integrated Care Board that we can no longer accept yellow sharps bins from our patients, as their new clinical waste provider cannot accept them.

The ICB has asked us to signpost patients to their local authority websites to arrange collection/drop-off of their sharps bins.

Hazardous waste, asbestos, electrical and electronic items must not be thrown away in the rubbish or recycling bins at home. Clinical waste can be collected

We have lots of prescriptions waiting to be loaded into the collection machine. If you have received your pin, please collect ASAP in order for other prescriptions to be loaded.

Also, if you are collection machine customer and your prescription is due for collection today and you are yet to receive a pin, you can collect your prescription from the main Pharmacy. Please note - this is only for patients who collect their prescriptions from the collection machine.

WOOLPIT PHARMACY: PRIVATE COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
Covid-19 is still circulating within the population and regular vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself from infection and complications.
Covid-19 vaccination is only available on the NHS to specific groups of patients (the over 75s and those with supressed immune systems): If you are eligible for NHS vaccination you should have already been contacted.
If you are not eligible for NHS covid vaccination but still want to protect yourself then Woolpit Pharmacy is able to offer this as a private service to the over 12s. Please contact the pharmacy for more information; we can arrange a telephone consultation with one of our pharmacists to ensure the vaccine is suitable for you and then arrange a time and date for your vaccination appointment.
Covid-19 Vaccination - Private service for Autumn/Winter 2025 - £97.95 - reduced to £89.95 if payment is made at the time of booking
