Summer is still here, but there are little signs that the season is beginning to turn.

The evening are drawing in, berries are ripening and autumn is starting to appear at the edges.

I love this in-between part of the year. A time to notice what’s grown, what’s ripened and what we might want to gather and carry forward with us.

I try to start everyday with a short practice, honouring the elements and the spirit of the universe.

Air for wisdom & clear communication, fire for joy & creativity, water for serenity and healing and earth for stability & prosperity. I draw an oracle card for the day, it might be something to focus on or something to be mindful of. And I spend a few moments of reflection and journaling.

On the days I don't make time for this, it's always noticeable, life just feels a bit flatter and less free. And sometimes my emotions get the better of me!
