🥐☕ Breakfast with a little extra! ❤️

💛This morning we treated our lovely residents and staff to a delicious continental breakfast. There was plenty of yummy food, lots of tea and coffee, and even more laughter! 😄

🧡Everyone enjoyed sitting together, having a good chat and starting the day with full tummies and happy faces. 🥰

😇Safe to say, the pastries disappeared faster than we could put them out! 😅🥐

💚A big thank you to our amazing kitchen team for preparing such a lovely breakfast and making our morning extra special! ❤️👏

🥰A little look at what we’ve been up to! ✨

Let’s take a little trip back to Saturday, when some of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea together. 🫖🍰 Good company, delicious treats and plenty of lovely conversations, the perfect way to spend an afternoon! 💕

💛Today has been just as lovely! This morning, we enjoyed a trip to Bury for some shopping and coffee. 🛍️☕ A little retail therapy, a nice cuppa and plenty of smiles 💚

☀️This afternoon, we headed to Elton Liberal Club, where we enjoyed singing, playing bingo and, of course, a few biscuits along the way! 🎶🎲🍪

The singing was in full swing, the bingo was taken very seriously, and the biscuits were the real winners of the afternoon! 😂🍪

Happy Saturday, everyone! ✨

😇Well, we’ve been so busy having fun that we forgot to share some of our best smiles! 😅📸 These pictures aren’t from this weekend, but don’t worry, tomorrow we’ll be back with the latest ones. 🫣😜

🥰Yesterday, we headed to St Annes, ready for the kite festival… only to find out in the morning that it had been cancelled! 🪁❌

But did that stop us? Absolutely not! 😂 We thought, Well, we’re already dressed, so we might as well go!😅 And we’re so glad we did. We had a lovely day out, enjoyed the fresh air, and made some wonderful memories together. 💛

😚On Thursday, we had a Karaoke afternoon 🎤🎶 and let’s just say… we may not be the next big thing in music, but we certainly know how to put on a show! 😂💃🕺 There was plenty of singing, dancing, and laughter, and everyone had a brilliant time.😘💛

🧡On Wednesday, we visited Irish World Heritage. Everyone enjoyed their day, and our lovely Larraine had the happiest surprise when she bumped into an old friend. 🥰💛 It was so lovely to see her smile!💚

And our lovely Ian? Well, he went and won the Bingo! 🎉👏 We’re starting to think he’s got a secret lucky charm! 😂🍀

💜 Tuesdays at Lavender Hills… because apparently ONE trip just isn’t enough! 😄🚐🥳

😇Tuesdays are always super busy around here, and today was no exception! We had three different trips to three different places, and somehow we managed to fit it all in! 😆👏

🥰This morning, while our beautiful Doris and Jean were enjoying a peaceful coffee together ☕️💜, some of our residents were off to Hawkshaw for chair exercises. 💪🪑When they came back, they proudly told us they had been working very hard! 😃

💚Then came the afternoon, and there was absolutely no time for a rest! Some of our residents headed off to Memory Club, where they had a fantastic time singing, answering quiz questions and, of course, having plenty of chats with friends. 🎶🧠💬🥰

At the same time, another group headed over to the Jubilee Centre for their Music in Mind session. 🎵💜 We absolutely love our visits there and were especially happy to be back after they had been off for a few weeks. 🥰🎶

So, if anyone was wondering what happens on a Tuesday at Lavender Hills… we go places, we exercise, we sing, we answer questions, we drink coffee, we chat, we laugh… and then we wonder where the day went! 😋☕️🎶

And don’t worry… we’ll be back tomorrow with more exciting trips, more adventures and, of course, plenty of pictures! 📸😄

🐾 Today’s little adventure… 🐾

😇 We started our Sunday by attending both Catholic Church and Christ Church. Sunday Mass definitely made our lovely Maureen’s day! 🥰 She saw so many familiar faces, which made the morning extra special. ❤️

😎This afternoon, we headed off to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary 🐑🐐🐴 and our lovely residents absolutely loved it. There were plenty of smiles, lots of animals to see, and, of course, no trip is complete without coffee and cake! ☕🍰😄

A lovely Sunday all round, and we’re already looking forward to our next little adventure! ❤️

🤩Today was packed with fun, from the Soapbox Competition in Accrington to an exciting visit to the Transport Museum in Bury. 🏎️🚂🥳

😇And the adventure doesn’t stop there—we’ve got some more exciting trips planned for tomorrow! We can’t wait! 😊✨
