We do love a chance to share and talk about food! Last week we enjoyed a summer spread of tasty treats at Elmhurst; someone said it looked like the finest cruise ship buffet... and we're not arguing!

There doesn't need to be a special occasion to enjoy good food and it's a bonus if there's good company too.

We're all aboard for this one... now, where do we get our tickets?

Elton's Tropical Bash was a great reason for us to meet up with friends we don't see every day and play some great games, like our home made coconut shy and the human slot machine!

Thanks to the Splinter Guitar Group who got everyone up and dancing, and to everyone who worked hard creating, painting and organising to make the day so much fun!

If you are supported by Persona you are welcome to come to our Your Voice Committee. It's a way for you to:

-tell us what you think
-catch up with friends
-learn new things
-have your say in how we do things

This month we
-learnt about Thai, Pakistani, Italian and Indian culture
-met our new activities support coordinators (who were recruited by our lived experience recruiters and staff)
-shared ideas for activities we can plan, including Party in the Park 2027!

We've been watching our caterpillars grow into butterflies, feeding and looking after them until they were ready to fly away.

While we waited for them to turn from caterpillars into their cocoon and then emerge as butterflies, we made bead butterflies, strings of green leaves with munching caterpillars and more caterpillars coming out of their cocoons to decorate our rooms.
