I love this. There are endless benefits to attending baby classes. ❤️ Offering new ideas to try at home is definitely something that Sing and Sign can offer! We all know that routines can be important with tiny babies, and sometimes, it feels like we're in a perpetual cycle of nappies, milk and naps. (Or spending more time to get babies to nap than they actually sleep for!) But having a few songs, games and activities in your back pocket can really brighten your day. A simple song when changing nappies can make it more enjoyable. Your baby will LOVE to hear you singing. Whether you think yourself tuneful or not will not matter to your baby.
I always say the magic of your baby recognising signs or copying them will not happen in classes. It all happens with practice and repetition at home. YOU are your baby's first teacher. ❤️ Babies are sponges and learn so much for you.

Rhyme Time is back on Monday 14th September, 10 am at Buxton Library! It has been a looong summer and I've missed our Monday morning sessions! Here's what to expect:

*It's free! ❤️❤️❤️
*No commitment. Every session is a drop-in.
*10am at Buxton Library. Then every Monday during term time.
*There's no expectation to sing along. Just relax and enjoy time with your little one.
*Each session is aimed at the under 5s.
*We'll have a mix of songs and stories with a sprinkle of instruments.
*Each session will be about 30 minutes. Come earlier, stay later, up to you! There's plenty of books to peruse!

Let's face it, we love talking about the weather! It's been a bit bonkers the last few days. We've seen rain, we've seen sun and we have seen a rainbow! Weather is one of the most consistent things we can talk about with our children, there's always something going on! Whether our children have the words or not, it's never too esrly to get speaking to them about the world around them.

We love to sing about the weather in classes and learn lots of signs to talk about what the weather is doing! Are you coming to my Autumn term? I cannot wait to meet you!

Trials are now live! ❤️

I know not everyone knows what Sing and Sign is and may not want to sign up to a whole term straight away. So, all classes that are definitely running (and have spaces remaining!) are now available to book as a trial for week 1 for £5!

Happy national dog day! 🐶
The sign for 'dog' is a lovely one to learn because we see dogs absolutely everywhere and they're a great conversation starter. You can talk about what the dog looks like, what the dog is doing and how to be gentle when stroking dogs. So much fun, but there is so much learning!

We love bubbles! So much fun! But did you know they are useful in so many other ways? They help with hand and eye coordination, they help with building up muscle strength and help to hone those pointing skills.

Who knew?!

If you can add some bubbles to your day then you're not only entertaining your child, you're also helping them to develop.
