If you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply caught up in the rush of the day, try taking these three intentional breaths.
๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ 1
Take a long, slow breath in, feeling your chest fill and your ribs expand.
Pause for the briefest moment.
Then sigh the air out heavily and quickly. If a sound wants to happen, let it.
๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ 2
Take another long, slow breath in, this time allowing the air to sink all the way down into your belly.
Feel the belly expand.
Pause briefly.
Then sigh the air out firmly, gently drawing the belly back in and emptying the lungs.
๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐ 3
Take one final long, slow breath in.
Feel the chest expand, the ribs widen, and the belly gently rise.
Pause.
Then let the air leave slowly and calmly, with no force and no rush.
That's it.
Three breaths. Less than a minute.
Sometimes the simplest techniques can create just enough space to help us feel calmer, more grounded, and more present.
