🌡️ HOT WEATHER ADVICE FOR ALL CARE STAFF 🌡️

• Keep a cold bottle of water in the car 💧
• Bottled water is available from the office between 7am–5pm
• Knee-length shorts are permitted during the hot weather 🩳
• Apply sun cream before and during your shift 🧴
• Open car doors/windows before getting in to let heat out 🚗
• Encourage the people we support to drink fluids regularly
• Look out for signs of overheating such as dizziness, headaches, confusion or sweating
• Park in shaded areas where possible
• Take a few minutes to cool down safely between calls
Please take care of yourselves and each other while working in the heat ☀️
