Like everyone, we are shocked and saddened at the actions of those at Legacy Independent Funeral Directors, Hull.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have been let down by them.
The days and weeks to come are going to be some of the hardest the families will ever experience and it is imperative that this is not allowed to happen again.
Regualtion will go some way to solve it. We welcome it.
We are ready for it.
Piper Independent Funeral Services is a member of National Association of Funeral Directors.
They are the trade body for our profession. Yes, we pay to be members, everyone does. As part of our membership we have inspections. They are important as standards are checked. Legacy was no longer a member of the NAFD.
They could do what they did.
We want to reassure our families we have looked after in the past and in the years to come, you and your loved ones are our priority.
We will always be honest and open with you. We will always care for your loved ones as if they were our own.
