Today we’re celebrating a very special gentleman as Peter turns 86 💙
Peter enjoyed a lovely birthday surrounded by love, sharing cake and a well-earned glass of wine with his wife, Bridget 🥂🍰

He spent time reminiscing about his incredible memories of flying ✈️, including his unforgettable 80th birthday adventure—an airplane flight that he still treasures dearly. The photos proudly displayed in his room tell such a wonderful story of a life full of excitement and passion 📸

✨ What a lovely day we had watching Trooping the Colour and celebrating the King’s Birthday! ✨🇬🇧

Residents enjoyed the spectacle, the music, and the wonderful sense of tradition that comes with this historic occasion. 🎺👑 It sparked great conversations, happy memories, and plenty of smiles all around.

Did you know?

* Trooping the Colour is a centuries-old military parade that officially marks the monarch’s birthday.
* It dates back over 260 years, making it one of Britain’s most treasured traditions.
* More than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians usually take part.
* The celebration ends with a spectacular RAF flypast over Buckingham Palace. ✈️
* Although the King’s actual birthday is in November, the official celebration takes place in summer for better weather. ☀️

It was a joy to celebrate the birthday of King Charles III together and to share such a meaningful part of British history with our residents. 💙🇬🇧

Today we are delighted to celebrate an incredible milestone — our lovely Esther’s 100th birthday! 💐💖

What a joyful afternoon at Cherry Tree! 💃🎶

Amanda Jane joined us yesterday and brought so much happiness to our residents with her beautiful singing. She didn’t just sing to them — she sang with them, creating such a warm and lively atmosphere.

The highlight? Amanda even had a dance with our lovely resident Harold — smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun all around! 🥰
