What a joyful afternoon at Cherry Tree! 💃🎶

Amanda Jane joined us yesterday and brought so much happiness to our residents with her beautiful singing. She didn’t just sing to them — she sang with them, creating such a warm and lively atmosphere.

The highlight? Amanda even had a dance with our lovely resident Harold — smiles, laughter, and plenty of fun all around! 🥰

Moments like these truly make a difference. Thank you, Amanda Jane, for a fantastic visit — we can’t wait to welcome you back! 💙✨

Today we were delighted to welcome some little ducks to Cherry Tree, and what a joy they brought! Our residents absolutely loved spending time with them — there were plenty of smiles, gentle cuddles, laughter, and special moments shared 💕

Today we celebrated National Cheese Day at Cherry Tree Care Home with a lovely cheese and crackers tasting enjoyed by our residents, families, and staff 💛

Cheese has a rich history dating back over 7,000 years, believed to have originated when milk was first stored in containers made from animal stomachs. Over time, it became a much-loved food across cultures, with hundreds of varieties enjoyed around the world today.

Cheese also has many benefits when enjoyed in moderation 🧀✨ It is a great source of calcium for strong bones and teeth, protein to support muscle health, and important vitamins such as B12. Cheese can also help provide energy and support overall wellbeing.

And yes… cheese can feel a little addictive 😄 This is because it contains casein, a protein that releases feel-good chemicals in the brain, making cheese especially comforting and enjoyable — no wonder it’s such a favourite!

It was wonderful to see everyone coming together, sharing stories, laughter, and enjoying some delicious cheese 🥰 A truly delightful day for all!
