A very hot week but we managed to keep the residents engaged and hydrated

We had a Pantomime Monday, Church Service Wednesday, The Memory Man Thursday and Rob Knight the singer on Friday.

Next week is cooler and hopefully will be more comfortable for all the residents.

Mama Mia

We had a very nice movie night on Thursday with hot dogs, chicken nuggets, mini cinema ice creams, sweet treats and malteasers. Whilst watching a feel good sing a long to movie (Mama Mia) on the big screen.

We will let you know when we host another hopefully late June, families will as always be welcome.

Not so appetising as the chocolate making but lots of squelchy fun. Today with the lovely weather we all felt inspired and did nature club. We made seed bombs for Crick garden.

Important lessons for the activity co- ordinator who now looks like she has borrowed Shreks hands. The dye in green tissue paper is fairly permanent!!

Domino's and Poker. The residents have led me astray somewhat.

They might look sweet but they play a fierce hand and some of them bend the rules a tad but on the plus traditional games are great for reminiscing and number skills. That is also apple juice not a double whiskey by the hand of cards.

Last weekend Daz and his team raised £40,000 running the London Marathon. This weekend he is with us from 3pm. He is a well known musician and charity fybd raiser both locally and nationally.

This should be a cracking show as Darren plays all over the country to small and large venues.

This event will also be in celebration of former resident Eileen's life who loved these events and all the live entertainers we had at Crick.
