Chiastolite is a rare form of the mineral Andalusite. It has graphite/carbon inclusions that form a cross shape. The name comes from the Greek word chiastos meaning “cross marked”.

In the past, we have had slices or tumblestones. I've never seen it like this. The outside is a little like tree bark - quite fascinating!

It is gently grounding and protective but also connects with high frequency energies. It can be helpful to adjust to changing situations and I find it particularly useful when people move house as it really helps to settle into the new place.

Lovely Aura Quartz - now in the shop.
Here we have some pieces that are raw and unpolished atbthe base but cur ant polished at the top. The aura coating gives the pretty rainbow effect.

These extra extra large tumblestones in and extra extra quality Tourmaline are just gorgeous!! They have been polished to a lovely smooth sheen and feel absolutely lovely in the hands.

We use Black Tourmaline frequently in healing - often, but nor exclusively, at the end of a treatment to aid grounding.

We love this crystal for grounding, alignment, protection, stability and more.

If you've missed Mary's Mindful Monday video today, it didn't happen because we've been wrestling with wifi all day. We did aim to remain mindful but there were a few rude words of frustration on occasion.

We have managed to get most of the invoices off but only a few parcels. We'll be back on the case on Wednesday.

We hope you had a lovely weekend. It's been absolutely glorious here and all the roses are out 😍.

In the front of this photograph, behind the blue pot of camomile, you may spot a dog bed being used as a flower bed!
Many of you knew Seren. When she died, I decided to plant flowers in her old bed. I'm amazed at how well the beautiful yellow rose has done in such shallow soil. (You can't see the yellow roses. I've just deadheaded them all and the next lot of buds are almost ready.) There's loads of calendula, nasturtiums and borage ready to pop!

Black Moonstone, also known as Northosite or Anorthosite, is a silver-grey to darkest grey opaque feldspar.

In some ways it is similar to ‘standard’ Moonstone, in that it works with the emotional body. It is much more introverted than cream Moonstone, teaching us of the power of going inward. It resonates with the Dark Moon more than bright moons. In some ways it is also like Labradorite, in that it holds the energy of mystery and magic.

All Moonstones are Goddess Stones - empowering and balancing the inner feminine and reminding us to love the goddess in the Earth and all women.

We have some lovely natural Citrine - a pale, subtle lemony colour. This piece is £24.

Natural Citrine has a high, light spiritual frequency. It is joyous and uplifting, like the Citrine we are more familiar with, but it resonates more on a spiritual level.
