Did you know, Odette has served Calne and the surrounding community for over 26 years, she holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing and once worked as a Pathology Technician and has assisted Home Office Pathologists. Odette can be found at the Calne Business Fair located upstairs at the Town Hall.

A service at St Mary’s Church, Market Lavington, live-streamed with care and discretion.

Working alongside the fantastic Odette Funeral Directors, BHWH Productions provided the live-stream and professional audio, ensuring those unable to attend in person could still be part of the service from wherever they were.

Recent news has understandably raised concerns about the care and standards families should expect from a funeral director. We ourselves are shocked and saddened regarding the events in Hull and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends involved in this.

As proud members of the NAFD (National Association of Funeral Directors) and SAIF (Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors) we follow strict professional guidelines, undergo external inspections, and maintain the highest levels of care and transparency.

Odette has served Calne and the surrounding community for over 26 years, she holds a Diploma in Funeral Directing, a qualification gained in 2007 through exams with the NAFD and as a family run funeral director everyone is cared for as if they were our own and the care doesn’t stop once the funeral has taken place.
We also employ bearers who are respected members of the community.

When choosing a funeral director, we encourage families to ask about transparency, accreditation and the standards a funeral director works to.

Odette and Fraser would like to thank everyone who came to the tombola stall of Calne Royal British Legion. Also a big thank you to other Legioners who helped put up/take down and those who helped man it through the day. An amazing day was had by all. Can’t wait to see everyone’s photos!

We were at St Mary’s Church in Market Lavington earlier this week for a funeral. This beautiful village church has its own bier which we used. Did you know that the church has its own bier house near the road. Unfortunately this has fallen into disrepair so the bier is kept in church.

Can we all show our love and appreciation for Sara, who is celebrating 10 years in the family business today. Sara creates wonderful, personalised Orders of Service as well as looking after our families and is often the first point of contact.

Odette looking cool in the heat this afternoon. The hearse registered 36 degrees on the terrace at West Wiltshire Crematorium. She was glad to get back and change out of her conducting gear 🥵
