The struggle is real sometimes.
You fall out of your normal routine, and that’s okay. Maybe you’ve skipped a few workouts, your usual daily routine has gone out the window, you’ve been eating more processed food than you’d like to admit, or life has simply thrown something at you that you didn’t expect.
The reasons will be different for everyone, because everyone’s life and circumstances are different.
For me, I’ve been ill for the last week or so, and my biggest struggle has been not being able to move my body the way I’m used to. I’ve found that hard, especially when I’m motivated and want to keep progressing. But I know that, in the long run, resting now will benefit me far more than pushing through and making myself worse.
So, for now, it’s about resting, focusing on my nutrition and then slowly building myself back up when my body is ready.
It’s so easy to look at someone else’s fitness journey and assume everything is perfect because of what you see in a photo. But you never know what’s happening behind the scenes or what curveballs life has thrown at them.
A fitness journey isn’t supposed to be perfect. There will be ups, downs, setbacks, missed workouts, bad days and periods where life simply has to come first.
And that’s okay.
**It’s not about never falling off track. It’s about what you do afterwards that matters most.** ❤️
