Dry needling targets tight βknotsβ in the muscle, also called trigger points. A thin needle is inserted into the tight area to help the muscle relax and release tension.
It can help:
* Reduce muscle tightness and pain
* Improve movement and flexibility
* Increase blood flow to the area
* Decrease muscle spasms or stiffness
Sometimes the muscle gives a quick twitch response when the needle hits the trigger point β thatβs normal and often means the tight spot has been targeted effectively. After treatment, the area can feel sore for a day or two, similar to a workout soreness. So, when are you booking your session? π
