Whitebourne is a purpose-built care home in Frimley, Surrey, providing quality residential and short-term respite care for older people, including people who are living with dementia. Inside Whitebourne, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with en-suite facilities and a 24-hour nurse call system. Some bedrooms also overlook the lovely gardens, which have raised flower beds and a variety of

seating areas. Residents can also enjoy cosy lounges, a hair and beauty salon and an activities room. The compassionate team believes that when a person moves into a care home they should still have goals and wishes for their future. There’s a positive, friendly and fun atmosphere at Whitebourne and a focus on personalised care and experiences.

What better way to celebrate than with our lovely Warriors enjoying a refreshing glass of Prosecco with strawberries, listening to some of their favourite music and having a fabulous afternoon! 🎶💕
We even had an extra special reason to raise a glass or two — celebrating the birthday of one of our lovely residents! 🎂🥂

A Morning Full of Smiles 💕🌸
Oh, what a fantastic morning the Warriors had with the lovely Ariella-Rose and Alaina-Mai! 🥰
There was so much fun, laughter, engagement and interaction as the children drew self-portraits of our Warriors and made beautiful bookmarks using lots of colourful decorative stickers. 📚✨
Although, I must say… I think there were more stickers on the Warriors than on the bookmarks! 😂😂
These two little ones were an absolute breath of fresh air and brought so many smiles and moments of joy to our residents. 💕 It was truly wonderful to see generations coming together and enjoying such a special morning.
Well done, little ones! 🌟 We can’t wait to see you both again on Monday! 🥰

Today, our amazing Warrior’s proudly created and displayed beautiful purple hearts 💜
Purple is a colour often associated with dignity, compassion, and dementia awareness, making today's activity even more meaningful. Every heart carefully cut out and placed on display is a reminder that behind every diagnosis is a person with a lifetime of memories, love, laughter, and experiences to share.
We celebrate the creativity, resilience, and individuality of each of our residents. It was wonderful to see everyone taking pride in their work and coming together to create something so special.💜
Together, we continue to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and show that people living with dementia can still enjoy meaningful moments, express themselves, and shine every single day.💜
Every heart tells a story, and every story matters.💜

What a fantastic week we've had!

The mighty Warriors have enjoyed a wonderful variety of activities, including a lovely cheese and wine afternoon, making delicious fresh fruit salads, relaxing manicures, cosy movie mornings, and of course, the beautiful one-to-one interactions that make every day so special. 💙🩷
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so enjoyable.

The Warrior’s enjoyed an energetic exercise session, keeping their muscles active while making great use of the equipment. It was a fun, healthy and engaging way to start the morning, with plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.

What a fantastic turnout we had for our Annual Summer BBQ on Saturday! ☀️🍔

The food was absolutely delicious, expertly prepared and cooked by our wonderful chefs, Bimala and Lou. We also enjoyed a great selection of refreshments, including Pimm's, Aperol Spritz, beers, and soft drinks.

It was wonderful to see all of the Warriors and staff up dancing and having fun with the fantastic Natasha from Reminisce Entertainment, who kept everyone engaged and entertained throughout the day.

Congratulations to our three lucky raffle winners! 👏👏👏

Although the weather became incredibly hot, we simply moved the celebrations indoors and carried on enjoying the day together.

Everyone at Whitebourne would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Annual Summer BBQ. It was a truly fantastic day, filled with laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories that will be cherished by us all. ❤️
