A few lovely team updates from Lakeview! ✨

Firstly, a huge congratulations to our General Manager, Iftekhar, who recently took to the skies for an incredible skydive in support of Sebastian’s Action Trust! 🪂 He raised over £1,300 for the charity and received his official supporters certificate.

We’re also celebrating our wonderful Lifestyles Assistant, Susan, who has officially completed one year at Lakeview! 🎉 Thank you, Susan, for everything you bring to residents and team. Here’s to many more years with us! 🥰

And with temperatures soaring, we’ve been making sure our team can keep their cool. Everyone has been treated to their very own handheld fan to help them through the hot weather.

A little reminder to everyone to stay cool, keep hydrated and look after yourselves in this heat!

🐑 Basil And Crew Mobile Farm Visit at Lakeview 🐰

You’re warmly invited to join us at Lakeview Care Home this Friday, 14th August, between 11:00am and 3:00pm, for a fantastic family day.

We’ll be welcoming a wonderful mobile farm, giving visitors of all ages the chance to meet and interact with some friendly animals.

Our café will also be open throughout the day, so why not enjoy a drink while you’re here?

We are absolutely delighted to be bringing home the bronze 🥉

This achievement really was a huge team effort, with residents and team members getting involved, getting creative and working together to make our gardens and celebrations extra special 🌺🌼

🥑 National Avocado Day was one to remember at Lakeview Care Home 🥑

To celebrate, residents got hands on in Cooking Club and made their very own fresh, homemade guacamole. Yum!

☀️🍹 Every day is a party at Lakeview Care Home! 🎉

The Summer holidays are in full swing and we’ve been making the most of the glorious weather, spending plenty of time in our beautiful gardens soaking up the sunshine (slathering on the factor 50 of course!), enjoying refreshing cocktails, and getting a healthy dose of vitamin D 🌼🌿

There’s no better way to stay active than having fun while doing it! 💪

Residents had a fantastic time taking part in a Moveball session with Mark this week. The interactive activity provided a brilliant full body workout, helping to improve mobility, coordination and strength, all while sharing plenty of fun along the way.

🌸🌼 Hallmark in Bloom 2026 🌼🌸

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome the Hallmark in Bloom judges to Lakeview. They enjoyed a tour of our stunning gardens, where residents proudly showcased everything they have been working on all things Beatrix Potter.

The residents have had a wonderful time bringing their ideas to life in our outside spaces. From colourful displays to charming themed decorations, every corner of the garden reflects the imagination and teamwork that has gone into this special project.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped along the way we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together.
