Our primary purpose is to provide our residents with quality life and personalised care, whether they are a permanent resident or just with us on a short term break. The design of the home and its entire operation are dedicated to that cause. Our approach to specialised nursing and dementia care is, we believe second to none, with a high-trained carers and nurses on hand 24 hours a day to provide assistance to meet the needs and wishes of each individual resident. Food is important to all of us and so our in-home chefs prepare a delicious freshly cooked menu three times a day, with snacks and drinks readily available at any time. And just to keep life interesting and fulfilling for all residents Camberley Manor has a daily schedule of organised activities developed to reflect the preferences of our residents. Our chefs have been busy creating our delicious new seasonal menu, and last week our residents got the first taste! 🍽️👩‍🍳

From sampling new dishes to sharing their honest feedback, our residents were fully involved in helping shape what’s to come.

We love these interactive sessions and listening to what our residents enjoy most, because their preferences are always at the heart of what we do. ❤️

🐾 Canine Café 🐾

What an amazing morning we had celebrating International Dog Day and our favourite four-legged friends. Where residents and local community canine friends, enjoyed a selection of pastries and puppuccinos.

🌟 TLC’s Got Talent! 🌟

What an afternoon! Our very own Camberley Manor Talent Show brought together members of our wonderful team and community to showcase their incredible talents, and what a talented bunch we discovered! 🎤🎶✨

From music, dancing and singing to performances that had us smiling, crying and thoroughly entertained, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. We know it’s never easy to stand up in front of a crowd and perform, but you all showed such courage and confidence, and it’s safe to say we were completely blown away by the talent in the room! 👏

Most importantly, you gave our residents a fantastic afternoon filled with entertainment and plenty of enjoyment❤️

We think it’s safe to say… Camberley Manor really has got talent! 🌟

🎨 A little creativity 🖌️💕

Last week, our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to Fired Frog Pottery Cafe Pottery for an artistic and therapeutic afternoon of pottery painting.

There was plenty of concentration around the table as everyone carefully chose their colours, painted their designs and enjoyed getting creative. 🏺✨

Our ladies absolutely loved the opportunity to express themselves through art, and it was wonderful to see the smiles, conversations and sense of achievement as their beautiful creations came to life.

A relaxing afternoon, filled with creativity, friendship and lots of fun! 💕🎨

💗 Afternoon Tea with a Purpose 💗

This Afternoon Tea Week, we came together for a beautiful pink-themed afternoon tea in support of Breast Cancer Now . 🎀🫖🍰

It was a wonderful opportunity for our residents, families, friends and team to enjoy some delicious treats, spend time together and, most importantly, raise awareness and show our support for an incredibly important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our afternoon so special. Together, we can help support those affected by breast cancer and work towards a future where everyone diagnosed can live well and be supported. 🌸

We were absolutely honoured to welcome our very own Suggs from Madness😉 to lead the conga line at our hit Music Festival! 🕺🎤

And what a moment it was! Our wonderful relatives and team were such great sports, joining in with the fun and giving our residents, and everyone watching a brilliant laugh! 💃😂 it’s safe to say our Music Festival went out with a HIT! 🎶❤️

Introducing Emily... Our New Care Services Manager 🌟

We are delighted to welcome Emily back to Camberley Manor as our new Care Services Manager!

Emily is a Registered Nurse with a wealth of experience across the NHS, clinical leadership and nursing education. After beginning her career on respiratory and acute dependency wards, she progressed to Sister before moving into higher education as an Adult Nursing Lecturer at the University of Surrey.

Emily has a special connection to Camberley Manor, having previously worked here as a Bank Registered Nurse and, even before that, as a Care Assistant while completing her nursing degree.

We're thrilled to have Emily back with us, bringing her wealth of clinical knowledge, leadership experience and passion for person-centred care and developing our team.

Part 2 of Sports Day… The games were on 🏅
Our residents, relatives and team members threw themselves into a series of fun and accessible challenges, with everyone determined to earn those all-important bragging rights. From perfectly aimed bean bags and hoop challenges to speedy relay races and volleyball! There was plenty of surprise twists and every event was met with cheers and encouragement!

There were some incredibly competitive moments (we may have discovered a few secret athletes amongst our residents! 🤭), some hilarious near misses, and countless memories made along the way. The biggest victory of all was seeing everyone support one another, proving that teamwork and having fun are what Sports Day is all about.

Congratulations to our winning team, who proudly took home the coveted Camberley Manor Sports Day Champions title! 🏆🎉 But every single person who took part was a winner in our eyes, showing enthusiasm, determination and an inspiring willingness to get involved.

A huge thank you once again to Scott from .frimley for helping make the afternoon such a success, and to all of our wonderful residents, relatives and team members for embracing the 80’s theme with such fantastic energy.
