🏥 I, Hayley, at wanted to inform of my absence due to taking some medical timeout. 1 knee surgery and another more complicated one very soon. Practicing what I preach and embedding self care and wellbeing.

⚡️I wanted to post and leave here my core values, experience and services, to inform future referrals, advocation and support.

⚡️To also remind and reflect on the key factors, rights and legislation that sets national care and equality standards that by law, should drive core practice to accommodate ALL Children and Young people in the Early years and Education system to 25years old.

⚡️ The Equality Act 2010 dovetails into the workplace and also sets legal requirements to implement reasonable adjustments for those with life long conditions, learning difficulties, mental health needs or neurodiversity, and also protects sexual orientation, gender inequality and more.

💡 The earlier needs and traumas are identified and supported efficiently, and collaboratively, the easier it is to succeed in education, the community, at home and workplace: fostering long term overall holistic wellbeing, for life.

🫶🏼All children and young people have a RIGHT to accessible personalised education, care and wellbeing, to also feel safe, heard and protected in those environments.NOT to gain anxiety, fear and low mood from the system.

👥REMEMBER: You know your child best, and they have rights, as do you as a parent to access help and support for your own coping skills and wellbeing alike.

📖Short children’s story 📖
🐧✨Two little penguins were feeling very wobbly about going back to school. They’d only just snuggled back into their igloo after Christmas, the thought of leaving home made their tummy flip.

🏫 School didn’t seem to understand why things felt hard. Penguin worried their nervous system might get overwhelmed, they felt like the odd one out.

✨🐻‍❄️One frosty morning, they met a glittery polar bear. This wasn’t just any polar bear – this one understood. The bear knew which bits of school were tricky and had ideas to make things easier. They met with the penguin, their parent and school.Together, they helped teachers see what the penguin needed. They made a sparkling coping plan that included:
✅ A quiet corner for when the classroom felt too busy.
✅ Movement breaks to help calm their bodies.
✅ A feelings chart so they could show how they felt without words.
✅ A trusted adult check-in at the start, middle and end of the day.
✅ Clear routines so surprises didn’t feel scary.
✅ Using senses and muscle work to calm and meet sensory needs.
✅ Simple instructions bullet pointed with visuals to help predict and understand their day and tasks-sometimes penguin thought of other things when the class was too much or they didn’t understand.

💎 With this plan, penguin could feel safe, calm, and ready to learn. Now, penguin knows they’re not odd at all. They’re brave, unique, and supported.

✨With a little glitter and understanding, school feels like a place where they belong.

💡 How to Be a Glittery Polar Bear:🐻‍❄️

✨ Listen first – worries often shrink when they’re heard.
✨ Work together – parents and teachers can create simple coping plans.
✨ Offer predictability – clear routines help anxious children feel safe.
✨ Create calm spaces – even a small corner can make a big difference.
✨ Celebrate strengths – remind them they are amazing!

can bring mixed emotions and overwhelm to many people.
Society, media and movies all tell us we should all be happy and joyful and sometimes life isn’t delivered in this way, especially when individuals experience difference, which can bring: abuse, discrimination, bullying, un fair treatment due to not being understood, having difficulty can be seen as a hindrance rather than a strength- and some may also experience coercive control.

⚠️ Abuse and discrimination is illegal and is never ok. Reach out to someone close or ring 999 if there is danger to immediate safety. Safer futures is a Cornwall based dedicated domestic abuse support service. If there a is a concern for a child or family contact the MARU: Multi agency referral unit: email at [email protected]

🎄 At Christmas and every day- everyone naturally seeks connection kindness and to be valued and accepted.
🎄 You can say NO to spending time with people who make you feel: upset, on edge, hurt, worthless, un-wanted, scared.
🎄 Being with less people who treat you right and with care, love and understanding brings more inner peace than being in a room and being scared and abused.
🎄 It’s ok if that person who shows respect, care and love is yourself, a small group of friends/ neighbours or even a community or group linked to a faith or club where you feel you belong.
🎄 It’s ok to do things differently and find a place where you are truly valued for who you are and the strength you have- this will be celebrated by the right people.
🎄 You may need time alone to heal in order to re build confidence and strength to value yourself to find the new community for you- to gain new connections and relationships you may not have now. That is ok.
🎄 Treat yourself to self care, growth and healing THIS Christmas to start lighting your path into 2026 where your inner light can light the way to new boundaries and beginnings.
🎄 Be kind to YOU and those who are important this Christmas.

✨ What act of kindness, for yourself, will choose this Christmas? ✨

Today’s Winter Solstice brings both darkness and light. Time to Reflect, Release, Rest and listen to the rhythm of life, our families, and what this year, and what it may have re-triggered from our past, to now need to be heard and understood to inform us where we’d like our future to lead us, or how we’d like to feel, accept or achieve differently, in the upcoming New Year.

❄️ Knowing darkness is temporary and you are worth being cared for, to talk about difficulties and to seek help overcome and make sense of overwhelming, distressing thoughts, emotions and body sensations.
❄️ We can only truly see the light to guide us, when it is dark. The peaceful night sky enhances constellations that are still used to navigate.🧭 🌌
❄️ Rest and healthy expression, is required to heal and make sense of what has happened and how to understand.
🌎 The earth and nature rests - returning more beautiful than ever in growth and bloom. 🌱 🪴🌲
❄️ Allowing self care and development of boundaries- protecting vital energy that is needed for you- and your family.
❄️ Giving permission to say no if you are no longer able to make a commitment is ok - both physical and mental health and wellbeing takes president.
❄️ Chronic health and pain can affect thought cycles and is also ok to reflect and express how this changes in the cold temperatures, to prevent lowered mood and further isolation. ❄️ Checking on loved ones and vulnerable neighbours can make a big difference as cold sets in.
❄️ Planning small nice things to soothe us helps in the moments.
❄️ Difficulties can turn into strength - sometimes we need a little help to guide us, for long term emotional understanding, articulation, coping skills and wellbeing.

🌈Bundles and subsidised sessions available.

🌱 Support is bespoke and tailored to individual need and reflected within plans to enable the legal right to access to education to develop: acceptance, understanding and allowing strength to re design how school curriculum is accessible by developing an individual educational plan alongside therapeutic sessions (individual/ family) to develop coping skills which are shared and implemented at home and school environments to fully create a consistent cooperative environment with working relationships to tweak and differentiate where needed as life changes.

🫶🏼Each child and family are different and the way learning takes place is different- adaptation of the curriculum goals are required by law and school targets will also increase by having a child centred plan whereby the child can remain in school- feeling validated, understood and valued.

🤳 I wanted to show myself more

🙋🏻‍♀️I prioritise and within: family dynamics, attachment, inclusive needs, neurodiversity, trauma, siblings,education-class plans and support to remain IN school, to have needs understood, removing ‘unwanted’ stress-filled behaviour which is often a result of un-met needs not being met within schools, home & education environments.

🚨NOT a fault of the child/ family!🚨

⏳ Those waiting long time periods for neuro profiling ‘help’ while giving extended time for emotional dysregulation and crisis to brew at home/ school including school refusal and education welfare meetings and court processes for families. ❌

💡 What if we paused and made time to understand the holistic:educational, emotional, neurological, sensory and physical needs of each individual and ensured accessible learning is implemented: as in the government legislation that gives rights for each child to access inclusive education- in line with their needs?! That also states mental health is protected NOT hindered.

🔄 ‘If you always do, what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got’- is dedicated to understand and advocate for positive individualised change, within the system to meet needs and also improve school attendance records, classroom management and improve family dynamics and working relationships as a result.

✨ I can create bespoke Low cost no cost strategies and resources to be planned for and fostered in multi agency working - as conversations, easily made resources, connections and individual in-person practice and training, is most valuable, for consistent progress and feeling safety within education settings.

👥 Multi-agency working and information sharing with your consent included- empowering difficulties into strength.

🤞🏻🔗📧 I am currently looking into becoming a CIC - community interest company- to obtain funding for my service to extend to more people. But for now,I offer bundles, subsidised sessions and if applicable with educational providers could accept pupil premium/ send/ CIC/ social care funding to provide besboke care.
