The specialist hospital for the East of England will bring together the clinical excellence of Addenbrooke’s Hospital, the world-leading scientific expertise of the University of Cambridge, and the translational power of industry partners like AstraZeneca under one roof.

With its powerful trinity of academia, industry and the NHS, Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital (CCRH) will be uniquely placed to change the story of cancer. Only here can we create the optimal environment to effectively fast-track innovation and markedly improve patient care.

We're still smiling after an incredible day at the Dragon Boat Festival! 😊🐉

Congratulations to the winning team, and well done to everyone who raced, volunteered, donated and cheered from the sidelines.
We're especially proud of our own CCRH team, who threw themselves into the challenge and loved being part of such a fun and supportive event.

A look inside the future of cancer care 🔍

From inpatient wards and treatment spaces to diagnostic facilities and a dedicated Breast Unit, take a peek inside Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital and explore what will be housed on each floor of the new building.

There's a lot more to this building than bricks and mortar. Every floor, ward and patient space has been shaped by the people who will use it - including clinicians, support staff, patients and carers who have worked with us to review designs, map patient journeys and help create a hospital fit for the future of cancer care.
