Alternative accommodation at sea - see previous link and last posts regarding details - this was taken a few metres from the land.
Ships are wonderful in every way, extraordinary experiences, and the colours in the Pacific incredible, but every area has its strengths.
Ships teach us how fragile we are, and that it takes a team, many factors, be it the wind and tides, if you are solo, to work with you, in some way - to move forward, or not sink. Ships teaches us to work with nature, to see nature as our saving force, not working against us, if we know how to speak and interact with nature, and how to work with nature, and to respect nature as step 1.
Ships also teaches us to stand strong, be flexible and that giving up is not an option.
This venture will benefit your health, your quality of life, life experiences, mental health, enlarge your life, see the world from the comfort of your sofa if you choose, with your cat and own car, with a small clinic and ship's doctor and nurses .... and also benefit countries around the world, where input has been requested for child psychiatrists to assist with national bio-psycho-social systemic risk matters, in confidence, however this will not be a theme on the ship in any way.
Come for a short trip, or stay a few months, or make it your permanent residence - this is our plan.
We hope you join us on this venture.
We are only contactable via email, [email protected] and we receive 100s of emails per day, so please enter "Ship" or "Boat" in the Subject line.
See you on the water .... hopefully first stop Barcelona, and first lengthy stop Bora Bora, if all goes to plan.
We have offered our input to governments and academic departments free of charge or pro bono since 2012, funded by ourselves, CINAPS, but we have been informed by our legal and finance colleagues that this venture and most going forward have to be funded or jointly funded, so investors or partners will be met with.
We have usually turned away investors (in the UK and abroad, mostly Canada and India), but this was due to how this complicated matters in terms of clinical policies, and we trust we can achieve consistently good outcomes along with investors if the 'goal' pathways are clear - two goals. Safety always first, for all parties involved. This can be discussed with investors or interested parties.
