Type One Diabetes Awareness Month 💙

Type One is an auto-immune disease in which a persons pancreas stops producing insulin. T1D has nothing to do with lifestyle and it cannot be prevented or cured.

Living with a life-long disease, having to do about 10 injections a day and worrying about it 247 is HARD. I am also positive life gives the strongest people the more difficult journeys as a test to mould you into the person you’re meant to be ✨

It can also take a huge toll on the psychological and mental side of things which cause depression and anxiety. Mostly the reason why I love giving treatments to people who also suffer with chronic illness or depression, anxiety and overwhelming feelings. Some days I am unable to make myself feel good but I get so much out of always being able to help someone else feel better and heal 💛✨
