The Rosie hospital is part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and best-known trusts in the country. It provides maternity and neonatal services to the local population of Cambridgeshire, extending to parts of North Essex, East and North Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Bedfordshire. Specialist services in high risk obstetrics, fetal and maternal medicine and neonatal intensive care are provided for the whole of the eastern region.

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating World Breastfeeding Week at Rosie Hospital.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall to chat, ask questions, share their experiences, and help us celebrate breastfeeding and human milk feeding.

It was wonderful to have the opportunity to raise awareness of the support available for families across University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and to recognise the incredible dedication of parents.

Every family’s feeding journey is unique, and every drop of milk, every cuddle, and every moment spent together makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success. Happy World Breastfeeding Week! 🌍🩷

Celebrating World Breastfeeding Week!

Breastfeeding supports bonding and nutrition, those early feeding days can be challenging, and you may need support with latching, supply, feeding positions or
simply reassurance that you’re doing ok.

At The Rosie, our infant feeding support team is here to help – whether you’re on the postnatal ward, in the community or at home.
