We recently celebrated Onam with our wonderful team at Cherry Hinton Care Home! 💛 It was a lovely opportunity to learn more about different cultures, traditions and the meaning behind this special celebration.
We also enjoyed delicious traditional Onam food, beautifully served and eaten from banana leaves – a truly memorable experience! 🍃🍛

At Cherry Hinton Care Home, we believe that exceptional care starts with confident, well-trained team💙

Every new team member—whether a Healthcare Assistant or Housekeeper—completes comprehensive training before beginning their role. This ensures they are fully prepared to provide safe, respectful, and compassionate support to our residents from day one.

On 20th May 2026, we were pleased to host a series of training sessions for our new starters, including Basic Life Support and Wound Care training delivered by an external provider.

These sessions are an important part of our commitment to continuous learning and high-quality care. We are proud to invest in our team, because when our team feel supported and skilled, our residents receive the very best care every day 🌟
