BECCA BITES #2 — YOU’RE NOT BEHIND

Have you ever looked around at everyone else and wondered if somehow you’ve fallen behind?

Behind in your career.
Your relationships.
Your healing.
Your business.
Your plans.
Or simply where you thought you’d be by now.

I’ve started again more than once in my life — so much so that I joke I’m the Queen of Starting Again 👑😂 — definitely not the master!

But perhaps starting again doesn’t mean you’ve failed or gone backwards.

Perhaps there simply isn’t one timeline we’re all supposed to be following.

Life changes. We change. Sometimes the path we thought we were going to take isn’t the path we’re meant to keep walking.

And when we constantly look outside ourselves to measure whether we’re doing life “right”, it can be very easy to lose connection with ourselves.

The song Peace Begins Within feels rather fitting for this one. 💛

Because perhaps peace begins when we stop measuring our lives against somebody else’s timeline and start listening to our own.

✨ You’re not behind.

You’re living your life, in your time.

And maybe you’re not starting from scratch either.

You’re starting again with everything you’ve learned along the way.

🎙️ BECCA BITES #1 — COMPASSION

Compassion is so important on this healing journey. 💛

And yet, so often, the person we forget to have compassion for is ourselves.

We tell ourselves we should be further along by now. We should have healed, moved on, got over it, got our energy back or worked out who we are now.

But healing doesn’t happen to a timetable.

It isn’t linear either.

Some days we feel strong, grounded and able to see just how far we’ve come. Other days something can knock us sideways and make us question all of it.

That doesn’t mean we’re back at the beginning.

Perhaps healing isn’t about getting back to who we were before.

Perhaps it’s about learning to know, accept and love who we are becoming.

And maybe we could offer ourselves a little more compassion along the way. 💛

I heard the beautiful track Healing in My Own Time and those words really stayed with me.

✨ You are allowed to heal in your own time.

So rather than asking yourself, “Why am I not there yet?”

Perhaps ask:

“What do I need from myself today?”

I’m officially an award winner! 🏆✨
I’m absolutely delighted to share that IGNITE Coaching has been named a WINNER in the Coaching, Training, Therapists and Practitioners category at the Janey Loves 2026 Platinum Awards.
This recognition feels especially meaningful because it honours not only my professional practice, but the personal and spiritual journey that has shaped it.
My work has grown from my own experiences of illness, trauma, grief, burnout and repeatedly having to rebuild after life-changing events. Those experiences have taught me that surviving what happened to us and truly beginning to live again are two very different things.
Through the IGNITE Pathway, I now bring together transformational coaching, nutritional therapy, Human Change Therapy, nervous-system support, Reiki, sound healing and energy work to support women as whole beings: mind, body, soul and energy.
I support women to reconnect with themselves and their intuition, reclaim their inner light, rebuild their confidence and self-trust, and create a life that feels aligned, meaningful and truly their own.
Thank you to Janeyleegrace The Sober Club and the judges for this recognition. I’m so excited for this next chapter and for the women I will have the privilege of supporting through IGNITE. ✨

A little clarification, an introduction to what I do, and a reminder that perhaps we all need sometimes… ✨

Firstly, I live with Multiple Sclerosis. It is part of my life and part of my story, but it is not the whole of who I am. When I talk about wellbeing, mindset and the choices we can make to support ourselves, I am not suggesting that serious health conditions can simply be thought away, or that everything is within our control.

What I do believe is that, whatever life has brought us, there are often small things we can do to support our wellbeing, reconnect with ourselves and influence how we experience the life we have.

As an Empowerment and Wellbeing Coach, I support people who have been through difficult experiences or major life changes and have reached the point where surviving is no longer enough. They may feel disconnected from themselves, uncertain about who they are now, or unsure how to begin rebuilding.

I help them reconnect with who they are, understand what may be keeping them stuck and begin creating a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling and truly their own, supporting the mind, body and soul.

My reminder at the end of this video is to live today as though it could be your last. Not recklessly or fearfully, but with presence, intention and joy. Say what needs to be said. Do something that makes you feel alive. Notice what is already here. ❤️

Interestingly, after recording this and completing my meditation, I opened Opening Doors Within at today’s page, September 6…

“Enjoy today to the full; enjoy it as if it were your last.”

I think that was a message I was meant to hear today, and perhaps you were too. ✨

Before the world asks anything of you, take a moment to come back to yourself. ✨

It’s so easy to wake up and immediately become caught up in our thoughts, responsibilities and society’s expectations…

Go to work. Earn more. Achieve more. Keep everyone happy. Keep going.

We can become so busy living our lives that we stop noticing how we actually feel, or appreciating what is already around us.

I know this because I’ve lived it.

Through grief, trauma, illness and major life changes, I became very good at surviving and doing what needed to be done. But somewhere along the way, I also became disconnected from myself.

I’m learning that a morning routine doesn’t need to be another rigid list of things to achieve. It can simply mean giving yourself a few quiet moments to breathe, walk, move, reflect, or notice what you’re grateful for.

Gratitude doesn’t mean pretending everything is perfect or ignoring what feels difficult. It means noticing the small moments of light that still exist alongside it. 🙏

This is where my IGNITE pathway begins: Inner Connection.

Because before we can rebuild our lives or step into who we’re becoming, we need to pause long enough to hear ourselves again.

Your morning doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to include a little space for you. 🤍

I’m looking for six women who are ready for their next chapter ✨
This September, I’m launching the founding pilot of IGNITE™ Inner Connection is a six-week programme for women who have been through a significant life change and feel ready to reconnect with themselves.

You may have spent a long time managing, coping or putting everyone else first. Perhaps life looks okay from the outside, but inside you feel disconnected from yourself, uncertain about what comes next or unable to move forward.

Over six weeks, I’ll support a small group of women to:
✨ Reconnect with who they are now
✨ Understand what truly matters to them
✨ Develop tools to feel calmer and more grounded
✨ Rebuild confidence and trust in themselves
✨ Begin creating a meaningful vision for their next chapter

As this is the founding pilot, the programme is available at a special founding rate of £297. In return, I’ll be asking participants for honest feedback to help shape the programme moving forwards.

The programme begins during the week commencing 14 September and includes six live group sessions, individual support and additional founding-member bonuses.

There have been times in my life when I wondered if I would ever feel like myself again.

Trauma.
Burnout.
Trying to hold everything together whilst quietly falling apart.

What I’ve learnt is that healing isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who you are beneath everything you’ve had to carry.

One day, our stories may become someone else’s survival guide. ❤️✨

For a long time, I thought asking for help meant I had failed.

But healing doesn’t happen in isolation.
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is stop carrying everything alone.

Getting support gave me space to breathe, reconnect with myself, and begin rebuilding from a place of truth instead of survival mode.

If you’re in a season where everything feels heavy or disconnected, you do not have to navigate it alone 🤍

Sometimes the nervous system doesn’t need more pressure, more fixing, or more self blame.

Sometimes it just needs a pause.

A breath.

A moment where the body realises it doesn’t have to stay braced anymore.

Tonight, try this gently:

Breathe in for 4
Hold for 7
Exhale slowly for 8

And as you exhale, imagine releasing the weight of:
“I should have known better.”

You were responding with the awareness, safety, and capacity you had at the time.

Healing often begins when we stop fighting ourselves for who we had to be to survive 🤍

Happy International Women’s Day

Today I’m thinking about the strength of women, not just the strength that looks powerful on the outside, but the quiet strength that keeps going through grief, illness, uncertainty and change.

The strength it takes to rebuild yourself.
To listen to your body.
To reconnect with who you really are.

Over the years I’ve met so many incredible women navigating huge life transitions, learning to trust themselves again and rediscover their inner fire.

Supporting women to reconnect with themselves is the work I’m now stepping into more deeply.

Here’s to women supporting women, lifting each other up, and remembering that the flame inside us never really goes out.

And to every woman learning to reconnect with herself again.
