A free and welcoming event for voluntary and community organisations, cross-sector colleagues and local partners. Join us for a half day of learning, networking and practical support designed to help your organisation thrive.

Who is it for?
Voluntary and community organisations, cross-sector colleagues and local partners.

What is it about?
Whether you are looking for funding opportunities, advice from local experts, fresh ideas, or the chance to connect with others working across the sector, there will be something for everyone.

Throughout the morning , you can take part in workshops, meet members of the Support Cambridgeshire team and partner organisations, access tailored one-to-one support, and share experiences with colleagues from across the county.

Attend for the whole event or simply drop in for the activities and sessions most relevant to you.

🎲 Growing, learning and connecting through play!

Over the years, we have seen the wonderful impact that board games and play-based learning can have on children and young people across Cambourne, Waterbeach and Northstowe.

Young people are building confidence, developing social skills, making new friends and choosing more face-to-face fun with less screen time! It is wonderful to see them laughing, thinking, working together and learning Math & English each week.

Our free, SEND-friendly Level Up sessions are open to ages 6–14:

📍 Cambourne: Saturday mornings
📍 Waterbeach: Saturday afternoons
📍 Northstowe:Tuesday afternoons

Our Level Up feedback session was brilliant! 💛

Young people and volunteers shared their experiences through sticky notes, flip charts and voice recordings, telling us what they enjoyed, how they have grown and what they would love to see next.

Youth voice is at the heart of what we do.

Board games, conversations, laughter and learning, what more could you ask for on a Saturday? It was wonderful to see young people building confidence, making connections and enjoying positive time together.

Growing Stronger Through Partnerships

We were delighted to welcome Hakim, Founder and CEO of Wings of Growth CIC, based in Hackney, London, for a partnership learning visit.

It was a valuable opportunity to share our journey, demonstrate the work we are doing in our communities, exchange ideas and learn from one another’s experiences. We discussed best practices, community impact and how organisations can work together to create even greater opportunities for the people they serve.

“Alone, we can make a difference, but together, we can build something that lasts.”

Community organisations do not thrive in isolation. We need one another for encouragement, shared learning, fresh ideas and meaningful collaboration. When we come together with a common purpose, our knowledge grows, our reach expands and our communities become stronger.

Thank you, Hakim, for visiting us and for such an open, inspiring and meaningful conversation. We look forward to seeing how this connection continues to grow. 💚

What a wonderful afternoon at our Level Up Hub Waterbeach! 🌸🎲💜

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy and smiles to make today's session so special. You are the heartbeat of what we do. 💛

Thank you also to every young person who came along with such enthusiasm, curiosity and kindness. Watching friendships grow, confidence build and laughter fill the room is exactly why Level Up Hub exists.

We're especially grateful to all the parents, schools, health professionals and partner organisations who continue to refer young people to our SEND-friendly board game, play-based learning and workshop sessions.

🎉 What a wonderful day for our community!
It was such a delight to be part of the opening of the Northstowe Unity Centre, where the Mayor of Northstowe, Carla Bros Sabria, gracefully opened the venue.

The Unity Centre has already become a special place for us, Blossomify Community Interest Company meets there for our learning sessions. These sessions continue to impact many families and young people across Northstowe, creating a space for learning, confidence-building, connection, and community support.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate, support, and be part of such a meaningful community moment.

A huge well done to the amazing Midsummer Festival team, what a beautiful celebration of unity, community, and togetherness!
