Happy 100th Birthday, Lily! 🎂

This week we had the absolute privilege of celebrating Lily’s 100th birthday. Reaching a century is an incredible achievement and such a special moment for Lily, her family, friends and everyone at Langdon House! 🍾

One hundred years means a lifetime of memories, experiences and stories. It is difficult to put into words just how significant this milestone is, and we feel honoured to have shared this wonderful celebration with her. ❤️💛

We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor of Cambridge, who joined us to mark this remarkable occasion and personally share their birthday wishes with Lily. Maria's visit made an already memorable celebration feel even more special.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, birthday wishes and, of course, plenty of cake 🎂. It was lovely to see the residents, staff and family come together to make Lily’s special day one to remember.

We would like to invite you to our upcoming Meet the Manager event, on 10th September, where you can join us for a lovely afternoon of treats, including waffles, crepes and candy floss. It's also a wonderful opportunity to discover more about the care options at Langdon House and hear about our recent 2-Gold Stars award in the National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme, as well as our Excellent (Outstanding) outcome (in all areas), in our recent PAMMS inspection.

The Langdon House team will also be on hand to take you on a tour of the home and answer any questions you may have.

After lunch we all enjoyed a lovely musical performance in all of our lounges.

Our residents got into the spirit, as we also prepare for our upcoming line dancing activity 🤠🤠🤠
