Langdon House is an exceptional care home in Chesterton, Cambridge with a superb reputation, offering outstanding person-centred Residential Care, Dementia Care and short-stay respite breaks. Langdon House is a purpose built residential care home for older people situated in Chesterton on the north-eastern side of Cambridge, a mile from the City Centre. There are 51 single rooms, all with en-suite

facilities to
accommodate 51 residents who are frail, elderly and may have a diagnosis of dementia. The facilities include a ground floor dementia unit consisting of eleven rooms, with a specialist team of staff dedicated to caring for and supporting these residents. The remaining 40 rooms are for older people who require care
in a residential setting. In order to endure peace of mind, all rooms are linked to a call system when staff assistance is required. The home is fully wheelchair accessible. Bedrooms are close to shared living and dining rooms. In addition, all
bathrooms are equipped with adapted fittings for an improved quality of life.

We warmly invite you to visit Langdon House for our special Meet the Manager Event, where you can learn more about our home, our dedicated team, and the high-quality care we provide.

While you're here, take the opportunity to enjoy our Summer Art Exhibition, showcasing a wonderful collection of artwork in a welcoming and relaxed setting.

Our team will be delighted to show you around our beautiful home, answer any questions you may have, and discuss how we can support you or your loved ones.

Weather permitting, we'll also be hosting a BBQ in our garden, giving everyone the chance to relax, socialise, and enjoy the summer atmosphere.

What glorious weather today 🌞🌞🌞

We held our art class outside, where we painted scenes of the garden. 🎨🖌️

Sophie was on hand with ice lollies and slush puppies, to ensure everyone throughout the home was refreshed and hydrated.

A lovely morning spent painting and chatting in the shade -while our gardener Michael was hard at work! 😉

Today we took lots of small trips down to the river to feed the ducks 🦆🦆🦆

A beautiful day full of simple joys at Langdon ☀️

Our residents got creative making bird feeders using honey and peanut butter 🐦
A lovely activity that brought smiles, a bit of mess, and a lot of laughter along the way

We then enjoyed the garden, soaking up the sunshine, sharing stories and cooling down with some well-deserved ice lollies 🍦🌿

Fresh air, good company and meaningful moments… exactly what days like this should be about 🤍
