๐Ÿก There's no place like home.
Remaining independent at home can help people maintain their routines, stay connected to their community, and enjoy the comfort of familiar surroundings. Independence also supports confidence, wellbeing, and a better quality of life.
With the right care and support, many people can continue living safely and comfortably in the place they love most.
๐Ÿ’™ Supporting independence, dignity, and choice every step of the way.

We know that the little moments of connection can make a big difference to someone's day. ๐Ÿ’š

Behind every statistic is a person who may be feeling isolated, disconnected, or in need of some extra support.

At Caremark, we understand the positive impact companionship can have on wellbeing and independence. That's why building meaningful relationships and reducing loneliness is such an important part of what we do. โœจ

๐Ÿ’™ World Humanitarian Day | 19 August ๐Ÿ’™
Today, on World Humanitarian Day, we recognise and celebrate the people who dedicate their lives to helping others.
Whether supporting communities during times of crisis, providing essential care, or offering a helping hand to those in need, humanitarian efforts make a lasting difference every day.
At Caremark Cambridge & South Cambridgeshire, we're proud to share the same commitment to compassion, dignity and support. We would like to thank our incredible care team, who work tirelessly to help people remain safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes.

๐Ÿง  Understanding the Different Types of Dementia
Dementia is not a single disease. It is a term used to describe a range of conditions that affect memory, thinking, and daily life.
๐Ÿ”น Alzheimerโ€™s Disease โ€“ The most common type, often affecting memory first.
๐Ÿ”น Vascular Dementia โ€“ Caused by reduced blood flow to the brain, often following a stroke.
๐Ÿ”น Lewy Body Dementia โ€“ Can cause memory issues, hallucinations, and movement difficulties. Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) โ€“ Often affects behaviour, personality, and language.
Every person's experience with dementia is unique. Understanding the different types can help us provide better support, compassion, and care for those living with the condition and their families. ๐Ÿ’™
