A wonderful afternoon at Berries Community Cafe 💙

Paula and Kelly had a lovely time joining the Craft for Wellbeing group, chatting with everyone and offering free wellbeing checks. These included blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate and blood oxygen levels, with the anonymous results entered into the National Early Warning Score app.

We also met the brilliant Gwen, who is 99 years young and instantly recognisable by her fabulous pink hair! Gwen attends the group every week and keeps busy with a variety of crafts. She kindly gave both Paula and Kelly one of her handmade welcome pouches, which she creates for new members of the group – such a thoughtful gesture.

It was also lovely to meet Julie, pictured enjoying the afternoon with us.

A huge thank you to everyone at Berries Community Cafe for making us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with such a friendly and creative group!

Bluebird Care Cornwall North will be joining Berries Community Cafe's Craft for FREE Wellbeing session as part of Personal Project Week, offering free mini health checks for anyone who would like one.

It’s a relaxed afternoon where you can enjoy some crafting, meet others in the community, and have a friendly chat with the team.

As always, feel free to bring any current craft project, or dip into Berries' craft stash if you fancy starting something new!

Congratulations to Lisa who has completed 2 years at Bluebird Care (Cornwall North)! 💙 She made the choice to fulfil a career in care two years ago and often tells us how glad she is that she did.
