🌻 Our Memory Café sunflower is coming along beautifully!

This sunflower was planted together at our Memory Café, and it's been wonderful to watch it grow week by week. It's a lovely reminder that, with a little care, patience and time, wonderful things can flourish.

We're excited to be taking part in the nationwide sunflower growing competition as part of Home Instead's sponsorship of ITV's Love Your Weekend. We can't wait to see just how tall our sunflower will grow!

It was an absolute privilege for our Community Engagement Officer to visit the Carers Café at Heath Hayes Health Centre to speak with carers about dementia, offer support, and help raise awareness of the condition and the services available within our local community.

Caring for someone living with dementia can be both rewarding and challenging, so having the opportunity to connect with carers, share information, answer questions, and let them know they are not alone was incredibly valuable.

A huge thank you to Claire Cooke for the kind invitation and warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to supporting the Carers Café again in the future.

Together, we can continue to build a more dementia-friendly community. 💜

🎯 Bullseye for friendship!

There was plenty of laughter at our Burntwood Memory Café this week as everyone enjoyed a game of darts together.

Activities like these aren't just about having fun, they encourage movement, confidence, conversation and plenty of smiles. It's wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on and making new friendships.
