π³Wait, what!!!!π€―
Yep, it's true. Attending antenatal classes reduces your risk of tearing...
It's a big topic for our mums, it's what worries them the most and they really what to know that they have control, what it feels like to tear, if it's a separate sensation or if you don't know it's happening. They also want the low down on suturing from pain relief to aftercare π§
It really comes down to having an in-depth understanding of what 'down there' does, what it looks like, how the va**na facilitates birth and how you can experience less trauma, so that you feel empowered and informed β
However, that antenatal class needs to be teaching you about the 2nd stage of labour, changes in breathing pattern, skin integrity, the pelvic floor, anatomy of the va**na and colon, and the overwhelming urge to crap π€―π³ You should also learn about perineal massage, perineal aftercare, signs of infection, and specific breathing techniques π¬ for you to practice prior to birth.
π Bee's provide the above and SO much more, so you're in the best possible frame of mind and completely in control, so you can breeeeeeathe that baby out ππΌ
