We have been made aware of a recall in place for Crescent brand, batch number 61535023.
Please check your supply.
If you have this batch then please check the blister packs inside of the box carefully, if they state 2.5mg capsules then no further action is necessary.
If they state 10mg capsules, do NOT take the medication and contact your pharmacy.

If you believe you may have taken the wrong capsules and are experiencing any side effects then please seek medical advice.

Risk Description

Heatwave: how to cope in hot weather
Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. During heatwaves, more people than usual get seriously ill or die. If hot weather hits this summer, make sure it does not harm you or anyone you know.

Why is a heatwave a problem?
The main risks posed by a heatwave are:

not drinking enough water (dehydration)
overheating, which can make symptoms worse for people who already have problems with their heart or breathing
heat exhaustion and heatstroke

We are still experiencing IT issues today and over the last few weeks. These are intermittent and completely out of our control. We can only apologise for any issues you are experiencing .

The NHS asks patients to "bear with practice staff who are doing their best" amid tech problems.
