This afternoon we had a celebration of all things Welsh!

We played a guess the Welsh word flashcard game, enjoyed a quiz all about Wales, listened and sang along to some wonderful songs.

It was lovely sharing our favorite memories of Welsh holidays, sporting events, singers, foods, castles and traditions with our tea and Welsh cakes. Before finishing with the fabulous Max Boyce and his hymns and airas

What a wonderful day out Nev and Huw had the best time at Brecon Mountain Railway and we couldn't thank the fabulous, friendly and helpful staff who did everything they could to make everything accessible for us.

The gents loved hearing about all the restoration work and interesting history of the trains and the views were out of this world!

Keep an eye our for Jayne not only driver of our minibus but in charge of the train! Does anyone have a plane we could borrow??!

There was a selection of Snacks, Bier, W**e and desserts to try. We enjoyed a quiz and discovered some facts and trivia about the over 200 year old festival!

We talked about our experiences of Germany including School exchange programs, Skiing, Christmas Markets and breathtaking Cathedrals. We also had fun with some traditional music and dancing on YouTube but only one taker for a second helping of Sourcrout - Thank you Huw!!
