After a busy week we shared a tranquil artistic afternoon painting plant pots. The film Starsky and Hutch was put on for those not wanting to join us. We had a discussion over who was our favourite - it was 40% in favour of Starsky and 60% in favour of Hutch. Who was your favourite? Have a lovely weekend everyone and thanks to all families and friends who support us. 😃🌞

Today was a very special day for our lovely resident MAVIS who celebrated her 100th BIRTHDAY!! Mavis was surrounded by love from her family and our carers Janine and Cara. Happy Birthday Mavis with love from all of us at Lakeside! 🥰💐🎊

Fantastic afternoon visit from Tolly and Ocean for Bedrock Alpacas! Thankyou Steve for bringing them to us - they were very calm we ALL loved meeting them and learning about them. ☺️

Wishing Jules a very Happy Birthday for tomorrow! We celebrated with fish and chips on Penarth Town front. Anna was so pleased to return to the Italian Gardens as they hold good memories for her. And for a bit of fun we bought some Fizz Wizz the popping candy 😂- we reminised about eating this stuff as children. This afternoon our residents were treated to some Flower Arranging with Jayne and our very own florist Sam.
