Another busy few weeks for the SEMS team! 🚑🏉☀️

Today our crews have been out in the sunshine providing medical cover for the WRU, continuing a busy run of stadium events across Wales over recent weeks.

Our teams have been delivering paramedic and doctor-led medical cover, supporting everything from pitch-side response teams to ambulance operations, helping to keep players, staff, and spectators safe throughout every event.

It’s always a privilege to work alongside such dedicated professionals and organisations at these fantastic events.

Summer has officially arrived, and last weekend truly kicked off the busy season for the SEMS team ☀️🚑

Over the course of the weekend, we proudly provided medical cover across 3 large festivals, indoor music venues, and multiple outdoor events, helping keep more than 150,000 people safe across a variety of locations and environments.

Working event medicine during the summer months is never easy, especially in the heat, but every single member of the SEMS team stepped up and delivered. From frontline clinicians, Doctors, Nurses, ACPs, ambulance crews and responders to our control room, logistics, welfare, and support teams, the professionalism, teamwork, and dedication shown throughout the weekend was outstanding.

We are incredibly proud of what this team continues to achieve and grateful to every member of staff who worked tirelessly to ensure safe and effective care throughout one of our busiest weekends of the year so far.
