Affinity Homecare’s dedicated staff will bring a professional approach to the provision of quality care to all our clients. As a team of care professionals we are ideally placed to provide a care package that will allow our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. Affinity Homecare ensure complete flexibility to all clients by operating 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year which is available across a range of times, from 30 minutes calls to 24 hours a day. From an hour a day to 24 hours a day 7 days a week, we provide a full care package to match the needs of the individual which includes the following:

•Sitting service
•Escort to appointments
•Collect prescriptions
•Provide light housekeeping
•Dusting and vacuuming
•Help with washing and ironing
•Making beds and changing bed linen
•Meal preparation and tidy away
•Help with shopping
•Help with bathing

•Help with incontinence care

This week, our office team received a beautiful gift hamper and card from the family of a lovely lady we had the privilege of caring for, Mo.

The card reads:
"To you all who cared so wonderfully for Mo. I cannot thank you enough for your care, dedication and time, and you will always be remembered."

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

Supporting people and their families through some of life's most difficult times is a responsibility we never take lightly, and it means so much to know that the care shown to Mo made a difference.

We and our service users need you to excel in timekeeping. People like routine, make arrangements around their care and we must not impose on people's plans!! ⌚️

💙 A little appreciation post for our amazing Senior Carer Nimna 💙

Training and supporting new carers is such an important part of what we do, and feedback like this means the world to us.

One of our new team members recently completed shadowing with Nimna and described her as professional, supportive and welcoming throughout. 🌟

Coming into care can feel overwhelming, especially for those who may not have had the best experiences elsewhere, so having kind, patient and experienced seniors to guide new staff makes such a difference.

Thank you Nimna for representing Affinity so well and for helping new carers grow in confidence while delivering great care to our service users 👏💙

🧴 Stay cool where possible
☀️ Take care in the heat while travelling between calls

While our team are out supporting and caring for loved ones across the community, it’s just as important that they stay safe and well too.

To families and clients, please also remember to keep an eye on room temperatures, encourage regular drinks, and avoid too much time in direct sun where possible ☺️
