ARMSTRONG, Nigel
Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the Cumberland Infirmary on 22nd August 2026, aged 59 years. Beloved husband of Kerry and much loved brother and uncle.
He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral service to be held at the Chapel, Carlisle Cemetery, on the 16th September at 11.30 am.
The family request no flowers: donations can be made if so desired to MIND and The British Heart Foundation.

MARGARET REEVES (nee McCracken)

Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne at Riverwell Beck Care Home on 06/08/2026, Margaret, aged 84 years.

Devoted wife to the late Bert, loving mam to daughters Sandra and Lyn, mother-in-law to (the late) Phil and Martin. Wonderful grandma to Anthony, Helen, Melanie, Christopher and Matthew. Great Grandma to Freya, Scarlett, Theo, Jacob, Rory, Amelia, Denny and Baby Everly. Cherished sister to Adam and the late Ann and David and sister-in-law to many.
Funeral service to take place at Carlisle Crematorium on Friday 28th August at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired can be made to Riverwell Beck Care Home.

Mary Steele passed peacefully at Brampton War Memorial Hospital on Saturday 15th August 2026 following a short illness.
Mary aged 87, much loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, gran, great-grandma and granny.

ROTHERY, Stella

After a brave battle with cancer, Stella Rothery died at the Freeman Hospital on Tuesday 17th June 2026, aged 60 years.

A beloved mam to Sherelle, Kerry, John, Brian, Eloisa and Anniya, a cherished Grandma, a loving sister, auntie and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A service to celebrate Stella's life will be held at 12.30pm on Friday 17th July 2026 At Stanwix Cemetery, 102 Kingstown Road, Carlisle.

All who knew and loved Stella are warmly welcome to attend.

Flowers are welcome. Donations, if desired, may be made to Cancer Research UK in Stella's memory.
