Cumberland HDRC

Cumberland HDRC Cumberland Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC). We're here to boost research and support efforts to tackle health inequality.

Part of the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and hosted by Cumberland Council. We are Cumberland's Health Determinants Research Collaboration team! We are a five-year project funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). Our main goal is to boost research within the council and support efforts in Cumberland to tackle health inequalities and the broader

factors that affect health. We're all about supporting and working closely with the communities in Cumberland to help drive local, community-led research on what affects health. Our community co-researchers are going to take the lead in research, focus on tackling health inequalities in their neighborhoods, and actively participate in Cumberland Council’s Community Networks. They'll also get support to learn research skills and methods and play a key role in Cumberland’s HDRC, helping to design, develop, and create research together. Interested in taking part in health research as a lived experience researcher or participant? Give us a like and follow for the latest opportunities.
