💙 "Everyone has their own reason for supporting the charity, and it's a privilege to hear their stories, understand what inspires them and learn what matters most to them." - Darcie, Engagement Fundraiser

We're currently recruiting for a Relationship Fundraiser, a role that sits at the heart of our supporter community.

From welcoming first-time donors to building relationships with long-term supporters, you'll help people see the incredible difference their support makes to local families. You'll lead on exciting campaigns, while creating meaningful experiences that help supporters feel valued, connected and recognised.

For Darcie, one of the most rewarding parts of the role is getting to know people, "building those relationships and helping supporters feel appreciated is incredibly rewarding, and for me, that's what makes the role so special."

If you're passionate about people, love building relationships, and want a role where you can make a genuine impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.

👉 Applications close this Monday on 17th August. Find out more and apply today!

Jigsaw put on a very special puppet show for everyone! Featuring three unforgettable characters: the bee, the unicorn, and the cheeky monkey! 🐝🦄🙈

Thank you to Jigsaw for bringing the show to life for all the staff. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed following the adventures of the bee, the unicorn and the cheeky monkey!

What made the performance even more special was that the children at Jigsaw helped to create all of the characters, it was a lovely afternoon of creating memories together.

The show ended with a very happy ending, leaving everyone with big smiles on their faces! Jigsaw is such a wonderful place. 🧩

💙 A moment of reflection in our Garden of Memories

There's something so special about hearing a sea of forget-me-nots gently chime in the garden, and messages gently dancing in the breeze. Each one represent a loved one remembered, a cherished memory, and a lasting connection that lives on in our hearts.

The soft sounds that fill the garden create a space for reflection, comfort and remembrance, reminding us that those we love are never far away.

Meet Ally and Rachael: the friendly faces behind our Neuro Living Well Programme 💙

The Neuro Living Well Programme is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and share experiences. Together, Rachael and Ally support people living with neurological conditions, creating a space where they can access advice, and meet others who understand some of the challenges they face.

"Hospice care is about helping people live as fully as possible," says Rachael, "people often come through the doors not knowing what to expect, but before long they're building friendships, and looking forward to coming back each week."

From wellbeing activities and future care planning to practical advice, the programme offers support and encouragement to help people live well with a neurological condition in a supportive environment.

For Ally, one of the most rewarding parts of the programme is watching those connections grow. "It's wonderful to see people share their experiences, support one another, and realise they're not facing things alone. By the end of the programme there's so much laughter and friendship in the room."

If you or someone you know is living with a neurological condition, we'd love for you to join our programme. 👉 Find out more and make a referral today. https://www.edenvalleyhospice.org/our-care/living-well-services/neuro-living-well-programme/

Exclusively for referrals – if you’d like to join, please ask your healthcare professional to refer you, using the form above.
