Will you be looking out for The Solar Eclipse this Wednesday evening?
Do it safely with proper eclipse glasses and enjoy the show 🌄

On 12 August, a partial solar eclipse will be visible across the UK. Ordinary sunglasses - no matter how dark - allow harmful solar radiation to reach the retina and should not be used to view an eclipse.

If you want to use eclipse glasses make sure they are genuine with specially designed filters that meet the international safety standard.

Children need to protect their eyes from UV just as adults do , or even more.
We get 80% of UV effect on our eyes before the age of 18
Protect your child’s eyes with sunglasses that meet BSEN 1836:2095 and carry the “CE” mark
