I'm seeing so many people popping up on social media as private carers wanting cash in hand work. When looking for a private carer for yourself or your loved one please ask to see proof that the individual has a DBS check, full public liability insurance, have a UTR code to ensure they are registered as self employed & the relevant training certificates.

The cumberland collective website has a list of private carers & other self employed professional who all have the correct cover and have completed the programme to ensure they are working to the correct standards.

This is so true. I've cared for & supported many clients who have illnesses that affect their fine motor skills and simple tasks like doing up buttons can become impossible.

While I was out of action yesterday. I kept busy designing new leaflets, updating my training and catching up on paperwork. Here is a sneak peak at the new posters/ leaflets. Now to get them ordered and handed out in the local area.

Some exciting news to share with you all....
From the beginning of February I will be working every other weekend to support more of my wonderful clients.
